Students are offered a variety of opportunities in Gifted and Talented Programmes. These include extension groups in mathematics, thinking skills, oral and written language, ICT, visual and performing arts and current events. Class teachers receive regular professional development in identifying Gifted and Talented students and how to support these learners in the class.
Year 6 student leaders are developed through the Student Ambassador Programme.
Selected students are offered half scholarships to attend the Gifted Education Centre (formerly George Parkyn One Day School) which is on site.
