Enrolment Scheme
The Ministry of Education directed Ōwairaka School to introduce a school enrolment scheme in order to avoid over-crowding. This scheme came into effect from 23 May, 2016.
The full Enrolment Scheme from the Ministry of Education can be seen here and is also available from the school office. Under this scheme, students have the right to be enrolled if they live within the described home zone. The enrolment of out-of-zone students is governed by the provisions of the Education Act 1989. All students who already attend our school will be treated as if they live ‘in zone’, no matter where they live.
International Students
