Contract
The Contractual Agreement needs to be signed byboth the parent/legal guardian and counter signed by the Principal.
International Student Welfare
The SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator), ESOL teacher and Principal are responsible for the support and pastoral care of International Students at Owairaka District School. This includes an International Student’s Orientation, overview of programme adaptation and assistance for those students having difficulty adapting to a new cultural environment.
Attendance
The school follows all procedures for International Students as are followed for regular students, this includes the use of a Truancy Officer and the Non-Enrolment Truancy Service (NETS).
