Ōwairaka District School is committed to effective teaching practice.
We have incorporated digital technology into our 1:1 device classes since 2014 and provide a range of devices for learners in non 1:1 classes. Over the past few years, we have been on a journey of incorporating digital resources into the range of teaching and learning approaches that we use.
Staff have learned that what works best at the moment for our students is a blended environment, where staff and students have the option to choose the best resource for learning in any given situation, whether that be digital or otherwise.
