We welcome enquiries about enrolling children at Ōwairaka School. You are warmly invited to visit us to find out more about our school.
If you intend for your child to attend Ōwairaka, please complete this online enrolment form or phone 09 846 5091 or email reception@owairaka.school.nz to make an appointment to visit or enrol.
Enrolment Scheme
The Ministry of Education directed Ōwairaka School to introduce a school enrolment scheme in order to avoid over-crowding. This scheme came into effect from 23 May, 2016.
The full Enrolment Scheme from the Ministry of Education can be seen here and is also available from the school office. All students who live 'in zone' have the right to attend our school.
The enrolment of out-of-zone students is governed by the provisions of the Education Act 1989. Please contact the school if you live 'out of zone' and would like to enrol.
